Revolutionizing the Hunting Industry: The Origin Story of Outfitter Services

Hey everyone, Caleb Stillians here. As a hunting guide based in Alaska and the founder of Outfitter Services, I want to take you on a journey through the inception of our platform and the vision behind it.

It all started back in 2020 when I found myself working for an outfitter who seemed reputable at first glance. However, as I delved deeper into the operations, it became clear that this outfitter was far from trustworthy. His disregard for safety and integrity cast a shadow over the hunting community.

This experience was a turning point for me. I realized that there was a pressing need for change in the industry. Outfitters who upheld values of honesty and excellence deserved recognition, while those who misled clients had to be held accountable. And thus, the idea for Outfitter Services was born—a platform dedicated to celebrating the good and exposing the bad.


Our mission at Outfitter Services is simple: to create a marketplace where reputable guides shine and dishonest operators fade into obscurity. We operate on a freemium model, allowing guides to showcase their hunts at no cost. We only charge a nominal transaction fee upon successful bookings, ensuring that outfitters are fairly compensated for their services.


One of the key features of our platform is the empowerment of outfitters. We believe that all the power should be in the hands of those who provide the experiences. Through a comprehensive review system, guides have the autonomy to accept or decline bookings based on clients' histories. This puts control back where it belongs—in the hands of the outfitters.

Since our launch just over a year ago, Outfitter Services has experienced remarkable growth. We've welcomed tens of thousands of monthly visitors and have hundreds of active guides on our platform. But this is just the beginning. Our vision is to become the go-to destination for adventurers worldwide, catering to millions of outdoor enthusiasts.

Join us for a hill country fallow buck hunt. Our hunts are behind high fence and offer the hunter the opportunity to harvest a trophy fallow in all 3 colors available. Our fallow hunts are 3 days 2 nights with meals lodging and guide all included. Additional species can be added to any hunt.

Cape Buffalo are hunted in our primary area (20,000 acres), on Rhenosterhoek Private Reserve, this is a great hunt in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Come and join us for your first or next buffalo. The hunt will consist of searching and finding the buffaloes from tracks and vantage points, once we locate them, stalking and tracking them through the typical grasslands and broken Nama Karoo, makes for a challenging and rewarding hunt with a nostalgic old safari feel of the Savanna.

Join the Lion's Head Outfitters crew in the snowy mountains of far North Idaho for a unique wintertime adventure as we team up with our incredible hound dogs to pursue one of North America's most elusive big game spices, mountain lions. During this adventure, you'll ride along with guides in trucks and/or on snow machines to traverse rugged mountains blanketed with snow. You'll experience the thrill of hearing the bark and howl of hound dogs in pursuit of a lion, and it only get better when you get to stand underneath a tree where a lion has holed up from the dogs. 5-7 day's, this hunt boasts a high opportunity rate, and plenty of fun as you hang with the team and man's best friend in God's country!

Big Mountain Black Bears

Big Mountain Black Bears

Our western spot and stalk bear hunts put you right in the thick of the action. You'll have the opportunity to hunt in diverse mountain habitats: clear cuts, burn areas, meadows, huckleberry patches, and along grassy old logging roads. Our region, Idaho's GMU 1, boasts a high population of color phase black bears to include sun patch genetics. Hunts typically last 5 days and comprise of two hunters per guide. However, we can arrange one-on-one hunts, accommodate larger groups, and adjust the lengthof your hunt to fit your schedule. Prepare for all sorts of weather - from sweltering 85-degree days to freezing snowy conditions. You never know what the mountain with throw at you! This hunt demands stamina; be ready to hike several miles daily. Safety is our buggest priority, and our guides are prepared. We have a dense grizzly and wolf population, and will happily allow you to take a wolf for an additional trophy fee. Our fall hunts often occur in the vicinity of high alpine lakes loaded with westslope cutthroat trout, so bring a rod and reel. This is a true western adventure in rugged mountain country so, stay frosty!
